Biotechnology B2028 Joining the Biotechnology family has been a new process for me. The environment is full of amazing people who are very passionate about the science world. In this environment I am able to explore the topics of science I am interested in with the full support of my friends and academic advisors. As the community is very tightly knit our teachers are able to closely help us and enable us if we have any interest in the many competitions exposed to us. Through these competitions I have gained more positive experience in working with people who have the same interest as me. I look forward to growing with Biotechnology and explore the fun world of science.

The dynamic learning environment, state-of-the-art facilities, and dedicated lecturers continuously challenge and inspire me, making every day both fun and intellectually stimulating. This supportive academic setting has not only deepened my understanding of biotechnology but also fostered my personal and professional growth, preparing me to contribute meaningfully to the industry. Participating in the IIF competition further expanded my horizons by exposing me to vast opportunities in research and innovation. Biotechnology B2028 As a student majoring in biotechnology here in BINUS Alam Sutera, I have had the privilege of meeting such wonderful lecturers and friends that I'm sure I'll remember for the rest of my life. They’re all committed to see every student graduate full of knowledge. So far in my freshman year, I’ve learned a lot of the basics of biotechnology and all future prospects of my major. The university’s labs and hands-on projects have given me a glimpse into the future of biotechnology and its vast potential. Beyond academics, I’ve found a community of peers who share my passion, and together, we push each other to grow. I am confident that the biotechnology program at BINUS Alam Sutera has a bright future ahead. With the commitment of our lecturers and the strong foundation we’re building, I believe we are being shaped into future professionals who will make meaningful contributions to the biotech industry.

Biotechnology B2028 Memilih jurusan Bioteknologi di BINUS adalah salah satu keputusan terbaik yang pernah saya buat. Awalnya, saya sempat ragu karena jurusan ini masih tergolong baru di BINUS. Saya khawatir apakah fasilitas dan kualitas pembelajarannya bisa bersaing dengan universitas lain yang sudah lebih lama memiliki jurusan Bioteknologi. Namun, setelah hampir dua semester berkuliah di sini, saya merasa sangat puas. Kurikulumnya selalu updated agar relevan dengan perkembangan industri, laboratoriumnya dilengkapi peralatan berstandar internasional, dan para dosennya luar biasa berkompeten. Salah satu hal yang paling saya sukai adalah dukungan penuh dari dosen-dosen yang tidak hanya membimbing kami dalam perkuliahan, tetapi juga mendukung mahasiswa untuk mengikuti berbagai perlombaan, volunteer, program student exchange, dan kegiatan lainnya. Beberapa materi Bioteknologi memang cukup menantang, tetapi dengan bimbingan dosen yang sabar dan berdedikasi, saya bisa lebih memahami setiap konsep dengan baik. Selain itu, awalnya saya kurang terbiasa menggunakan alat-alat laboratorium, tetapi berkat bantuan dosen dan kakak asisten lab yang selalu siap membantu, saya jadi lebih percaya diri dan semakin bersemangat mengikuti kelas lab. Bagi saya, pengalaman berkuliah di Bioteknologi BINUS benar-benar menyenangkan dan sangat mendukung perkembangan akademik maupun non-akademik saya.

Choosing Biotechnology major in Binus University has granted me lots of good experiences. We are provided with lecturer that are experienced, optimistic, and fully committed to helping students grow themselves into the prospective field of Biotechnology. As a sophomore undergraduate student here, I already gain in-depth understanding of Biotechnology core and the vast amounts of opportunities in future career and connections. One of the best things about my experience so far is the individual attention that each lecturer gave us, made it easier for us to participate in discussions and be more critical in expressing our opinions. Even outside of the classroom, Biotech gives us many opportunities to explore our interests while giving us the support needed to succeed, such as inviting expert, industry guest lecture, and many more. Overall, I know what I have learned here in Biotechnology will take me far in life especially in Biotechnology industry.

The 2 most memorable experiences in my opinion during college were, first at a fun gathering event between Biotechnology students & lecturers. In that activity we played together, chatted together, and also exchanged ideas. The second experience was when I had the opportunity to represent Binus at the Kompetisi Debat Mahasiswa Indonesia National Level in Surabaya. There I met many new friends from all universities in Indonesia.
